Cancer treatment often creates financial hardship at the same time that patients and caregivers have to reduce their working hours. The Foundation uses donations to help ease that burden.
Patient and family assistance
Donations may help eligible patients and families with rent, utility bills, groceries, gas, treatment travel, hotel expenses, and medically necessary equipment or supplies.
Equipment for care facilities
The Foundation has also provided equipment to charitable hospitals, hospices, cancer centers, and treatment facilities. Examples include sleeper chairs that allow caregivers to rest while staying close to a hospitalized loved one.
All donations are used to fulfill the mission of The Joseph Michael Chubbuck Foundation, Inc.
